- There is one God who is eternally existent in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, all of which are equal in their deity. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19)
- Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, born of the virgin Mary and thus He is fully God and fully man. (John 1:1, John 1:14-17; Luke 1:26-27, Luke 1:30-31; I Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 4:14-15)
- When Adam fell into sin the entire human race was separated from God and became in need of a savior who would have the power to reconcile that separation. Jesus Christ is that savior. (Genesis 2:16-17; Genesis 3:6; Romans 5:12-21)
- Jesus Christ is worthy to be the savior of mankind based on his atoning sacrifice according to the scriptures. He lived a sinless life, he died on the cross for our sins, and was resurrected after three days to show his victory over death and to prove that he was the Son of God. (Hebrews 9:11-15; John 10:17-18; I Corinthians 15:53-57)
- Salvation is a free, gracious, unmerited gift from God. Anyone who repents of their sin and believes on the resurrected Jesus, shall be saved. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Acts 2:37-38)
- The church is an elect company of called out believers baptized by the Holy Spirit into one body; its mission is to be witnesses to Christ, bringing his gospel to all nations. (Acts 2:38; Colossians 3:12; Matthew 28:18-20)
- At some unknown time in the future Jesus will return for his church. After which, all who are in Christ will experience eternal life, and all of those outside of Christ, eternal death. (I Corinthians 15:51-52; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:12-15)
- Water baptism is the first act of obedience for a new believer. It identifies us with the Lord Jesus in his death, burial and resurrection and is a public profession of an inward reality. It is not necessary for salvation, but neither is it optional for the Christian. The Lord commands it. (Matthew 28:19; John 14:15; Acts 8:12; Acts 10:47-48; Acts 18:8)
