We are an INDEPENDENT Baptist Church. We are not connected with any convention or association. While we may choose to fellowship with other churches of like mind and faith, we are under no contract with any earthly organization. Our allegiance is first and foremost to Jesus Christ, as He directs us through His Word.
Since 1967 Newark Baptist Church has remained a beacon of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the area (Cecil County, Maryland, Chester County, Pennsylvania, and New Castle County, Delaware). Whether experiencing the richness of God’s blessings or going through the trials common to man, the Church has endured with great Christian character while trusting God to be in control. Today, Newark Baptist Church stands ready to minister to the spiritual needs of our community and people around the world through our Missions program.
